I am regularly monitoring Arsenal Fan TV following their club’s campaign in the 2016/2017 season. Arsenal fans were filmed fighting and using bullying tactics inside the Emirates Stadium during match games. The club’s leadership are aware of this and will share the national anti-bullying campaign number to all of their fans affected by this form of aggression.

Thank you, Lacey. No supporter wants to have address this about their club – however during any competitive season the safety of supporters is also imperative.

Concetta, thank you. Will there ever be a conclusion when then the supply and demand for “winning” is evident at every sports arena. I can understand fans frustration especially when ticket prices are priced at premium rates. In saying that, bullying and the venting of physical anger should addressed so that it can be clamped and reprimanded accordingly. Yes, if you are being bullied by staff or a non member of staff it should be reported. To have a “riot squad” at every match is excessive, whereas a national charity (like Bullying UK) will inform any organisation what needs to be put in place if bullying has been reported; for example have more stewards available. Is it the football club or the manager responsible for the split amongst their fan base? That is the question and argument I appear to be avoiding.
